And so Obamacare, the Affordable Care act, has taken us big step in the right direction. But of course it can be better. There are still Americans who can't afford health care today because of the Republican shutdown. A lot of Medicare Advantage programs that are really important for seniors are cutting out doctors and raising costs. Right during open enrollment season when a lot of seniors are trying to make these decisions about the future of their health care, that's unacceptable. (23:42–23:50)
