If you look at the audits on homeless shelters, for example, these were dangerous situations that kids in shelters were facing as well as individuals. We blew that up and exposed it. There's audit after audit, just holding the administration accountable. The best compliment I ever got was from a former city commissioner who said, given a choice between the Department of investigation arriving at my doorstep or the comptroller's office, I'll take DOI any day of the week.
