We basically said, you're gonna, you're gonna create this government and you have to give the government certain powers because you have to have a government of some type. And then we're going to have a Bill of Rights that protects the individual. But In our Declaration of Independence for this country, it basically says your rights come from nature or nature's God, not from the government. So the government doesn't give you any rights. And the purpose of government is to secure your rights, your ability to live the way you want to, based upon merit and all that. (01:23–01:33)
