If our allies in the Indo Pacific or Latin America stop trusting us, they will find friends in Beijing. And we cannot push Latin America any more further towards China. We must look at our relationship with the Western Hemisphere through the prism of true alliances, economic collaboration and friendship. We need a prosperous Latin America and a prosperous European Union to stand up to China's sheer mass and capital markets. The America first attitude is actually going to make us America last.
