Instead of representing the interests of the Iranian people, the regime has long used its diplomatic representations abroad to orchestrate terror plots and whitewash gross human rights violations in Iran. Since the war in Gaza, we have seen a significant and sustained increase on U.S. attacks on U.S. and coalition forces by Iran-backed militants and militias, resulting already in 60 plus injured US service members. These injuries are not without a clear objective. It is our shared responsibility to ensure that their aspirations for a democratic, secular and non nuclear Iran are realized. (01:16–01:32)
