So what's your take on this one big beautiful bill? As I see it right now, the one big beautiful bill will actually increase our deficit. And I'm sorry, that's simply unacceptable. We went from $4.4 trillion of spending in 2019 before the pandemic to this year we'll spend over $7 trillion. I've laid out a number of options in terms of pre pandemic spending levels, plus up by inflation, population growth as a control that would put us at a baseline spending of somewhere between 5.5 and $6.5 trillion.
