Hopefully they realize that Biden has all the authority he needs to secure the border. Republicans have been happy to strengthen that authority. What we were looking for in the Republican conference, and this was the breach of McConnell's leadership, is all we were looking for was an enforcement mechanism to force Biden to use the authority he had.
