A dollar you held in 1998 is worth 51 cents. The dollar you held in 2014 is worth 74 cents. The dollar you held before the pandemic is worth 80. That's permanent devaluation. That's why people can't afford things. So that to me is a chronic debt crisis. I'm talking about a acute debt crisis. (04:02–04:12)
