When I got elected, it was on the heels of a lot of red tide and these discharges from Lake Okeechobee. Really tough for tourism, tough for the economy. And so We launched a really serious effort at Everglades restoration, building the C43, C44 reservoir. And all that's been done under my tenure. We did huge amounts of support for water quality, all these different things that are really important not just to the environment, but Florida's economy and our way of life. (00:39–00:47)
