Florida Department of Law Enforcement has just released the 2025 interim drugs identified in Deceased Persons report from the Florida Medical Examiner's Commission. And what this report shows is that our efforts are working. The report shows that Statewide drug related Deaths decreased by 19% in the most recent reporting period. And opioid caused Deaths dropped by 42%. And fentanyl caused deaths specifically declined by 46%. That is a huge, huge success story. And everybody that's been involved in that should be awfully proud to see those figures. (05:01–05:09)
