As Senate President, McCully gets to decide what proposals get full votes, which ones get put on the back burner on his wish list for next year, lowering people's tax bills, looking for ways to deregulate Ohio and supporting pro school choice policies. Really, I'm looking forward to continuing an awful lot of the work that we've done regarding really just making Ohio a better place to live, work, raise a family and frankly invest in one's business and grow that business and create economic growth in the state of Ohio. Republicans will still have substantial majorities in the House and Senate next year, though Democrats did did make gains in each chamber. (01:06–01:22)
