The cost of building a solar plant today is a billion dollars a gigawatt. The cost of building a wind plant, just the capital cost, 1.1 billion. And then it's free energy forever. The cost of building a coal plant is 3.6 billion a gigawatt. So it's three or four times the cost of wind and solar. And then you have to pay for the coal and all the contamination and poisoning the rivers with mercury and creating hazardous rain and all this other stuff. (53:37–53:42)
