As county attorney, I review all investigations in which a first responder is directly involved in a shooting or in custody death. I review these investigations to determine whether this office will pursue a criminal prosecution. Like any case that this office pursues or reviews, this requires me to consider whether a crime occurred and, if so, whether there is a reasonable likelihood of conviction at trial. (00:07–00:17)
