The reason you're here today is, is to demonstrate to this building, to the media, to the world that this has been, continues to be and will be through the entire of the administration, our main effort to secure that southwest border. It's not inevitable that it would have happened. It only happens when you make it a priority and give people the authorities necessary to execute it and you have operational control.
