We've seen some glimmers of this earlier. We saw handfuls of elected Republicans defying Trump and stepping up alongside unified Democrats on things like the Epstein files, on redistricting in Indiana, even on health care premiums. This could be the most important example yet. Of course, there is a very, very long way to go.
