Pete's Message, Back in New Hampshire

Published | Video Starts at 09:55

There was a time in the 2000 and twenties when we wondered if we had already witnessed the high watermark of American rights and freedoms that had been expanding for generations before they started to be withdrawn one by one. First it was the right to choose. Then it was the right to peaceful protest. Even the rights of universities to teach freely and comedians to practice their craft. But we changed it all. And we didn't just beat back the threat of tyranny. We recommitted in that 250th year of this country to a new birth of freedom. (09:55–10:06)
