And really when I was looking around the district back last summer and fall, so many people said, hey, Congresswoman Slotkin said she was going to be independent, said she was going to focus on our issues, wouldn't pursue impeachment, and instead, she's been very partisan. and so I decided to throw my hat in the ring because I think the voters of the 8th district deserve someone that will focus on their problems instead of the normal DC politics bill.
