America needs such a diverse array of energy to compete on the international stage. We have a battle going on between China and the US for energy. And China is building one coal firepower plant after another. Coal still remains a very important part of America's energy portfolio. In particular, as technology, information technology battles out, you need massive quantities of energy. West Virginia can provide that energy. We're going to do it by extending reasonable useful life of coal fired power plants. (00:42–00:48)
