And the governor put in his budget bill $1.9 million to continue these programs for homeless veterans. And Republicans took it out [the $1.9 million for homeless veterans] and are still, again, much like the shutdown, hoping that you will somehow magically believe it is Democrats who did this. when they turned the line to zero. So Republicans have now introduced a new bill that would reimburse other organizations who offer services to homeless veterans by up to $25 a day per veteran. (19:54–20:03)
