Now, if we had had the bridge all this time, that would not be an issue, and likely the population in Ketchikan would be much greater than it is today. But unfortunately, Sarah Palin, under her governorship, her two year term as governor killed the funding for that bridge. and then claimed that she didn't spend the money. Of course, that's not true.
