I rise today to recognize the Palmhurst Police Department for 20 years of service and dedication to public safety. Since 2005, the [Palmhurst Police] department's officers and telecommunicators have gone above and beyond the call of duty. They have received recognition for their Mothers Against Drunk Driving efforts, completed advanced rapid response and active shooter training, and worked hand in hand with local, state and federal agencies.
