Well, as I was saying, we need to do something to keep guns out of dangerous hands. And unfortunately, Bill Distaff has been extreme on the gun issue. He signed on to legislation like the bazooka bill. He has not supported universal background checks or red flag laws. which I think are common sense, basic things that are necessary for public safety. So that was one of the reasons why I thought it was important to run for the seat. (00:55–01:00)
