Yeah, you kind of answered it there. But what really motivated you to write this book at this moment in time, at this moment in really, American politics? Yeah. Well, For decades, really Back to the 1970s, the Republican Party has been defined by a commitment to a traditional conservative agenda of strong national defense, American leadership in the world, less government, less taxes, traditional moral values. And really, our contest politically was always against a traditional liberal Democratic Party. But there have been changes, literally on both sides of the aisle that I think I try and cover in the book. (03:57–04:17)
