We had that vote almost three weeks ago. Every Republican, virtually every Republican, voted to keep the government open and to make sure those paychecks are Done. The Democrats in the House, all but one, voted to close the government. and by extension stop paying troops, stop paying TSA agents, Border patrol, air traffic controllers and all the rest.
