Lamar is a humble giant whose service has been recognized at the state, local and national level, Serving on numerous state and community boards, including president of Northcott Neighborhood House. Lamar Franklin founded the YMCA Black Achievers program in Milwaukee. and served over 40 years in the Lavarn Way Boys and Girls Club Scholarship board.
