And that became the NAACP Legal Defense. We started the modern labor movement in that time, and Franklin Roosevelt was able to inherit [the modern labor movement] as part of what became the core of the New Deal. which led to not just one of the longest progressive eras in American history, but one of the longest progressive eras in human history.
