Leading in the Guard and leading in your communities every day. I'll also note that the Guard plays an important role in driving our economy, something I'm really focused on as governor. Right. Massachusetts today is a national security hub. We host six military installations, plus the Coast Guard's Northeast District, the USS Constitution, and 37 Guard armories served by more than 8,000 National Guard soldiers, airmen and civilians, plus thousands of active duty and reserve service members. They contribute to our military readiness, technology development, joint operations. And because that Massachusetts is a cornerstone of our country's defense industry.
