These plans have been subsidized by tax credits that have been made available to people. Earlier this year, President Trump and the Republicans in Congress refused to extend these tax credits. So as a result, this program that provides health insurance to nearly 400,000 people in Massachusetts and hundreds of millions across the country is going to expire the end of this month.
