And I've said since I ran, I probably have told you this before, that I think to be a good mayor, you have to be pro police and pro community at the same time. I strongly believe that the movement that really focused on defunding police departments or dismantling them, removing resources around, really has largely failed. And to be a large, thriving, growing city, you have to focus on quality of life. And with quality of life, first and foremost, from a city government perspective, you have to focus on public safety.
