But, boy, you and I both know that when the federal government can come after you unfairly, unjustly, it still costs a reputation and it can cost you a lot of money to try to defend yourself. I think this is a great idea. There will have to be a process. There will have to be a vetting of these claims. And I think that this Justice Department could do that under the leadership of Todd Blanche. Now, the acting attorney general was meeting with senators today who were apoplectic about this. They felt like it did an end run around the Senate appropriations process and they wanted blanket denials to people who were at the Capitol on January 6th. (04:28–04:39)
