The people of Alaska are over 60% non partisan or undeclared. I am very proud of the relationship that I have with my two republican senators in Alaska. I believe in good governance, and I think that all of the bills that are on the docket here today are a reflection of good governance. And I just find it really sad. I mean, I don't like overstating things, but this really is a sad day to see how petty partisanship has really taken over. (00:16–00:25)
