I further ask that the bill be considered, read a third time and passed and that the motion to reconsider be considered, made and laid upon the table. Is there objection, Mr. President, Senator of New Mexico reserving the right to object. This bill will needlessly punish the Northern Mariana Islands and significantly, or I should say further harm its tourist economy, the island's largest source of revenue and jobs. There is a current program in place and the current program requires any visitors that come to the Northern Mariana Islands through this program to undergo a two step vetting process by the Department of Homeland Security, including an in person interview.
