Well, I voted against the deal last night and I want to tell you why. No one has been more hard hit by this crazy Trump shutdown than Virginians. I hear it day in and day out. Our federal workers, our contractors, I think about the folks who clean the bathrooms in many of our federal buildings. They're contractors. They're not even going to get back pay once the government reopens. And I was glad to see that there were protections in this deal to make sure there was no additional rifts and the workers would get that back pay that's guaranteed by law. (00:08–00:19)
