So ultimately, who is to blame or maybe even from your perspective, who's to credit for this deal dying? Well, I certainly think that Senator lemahue and Senate Republicans should have been upfront and honest with Governor Evers that they didn't have the votes to pass. And if that had happened and we'd been brought into the conversation, I think we could have tried to get a better deal that would actually get real relief to people who need it now without jeopardizing the next budget next year.
