I have legislation that's going to address use of force and body cameras and masks and require that when somebody is injured that dhs, ICE treats them immediately, requiring more training, investigations. The state, if there's something that happens and there's a dead citizen, the state should have a role in the investigation. It should be independent, independent from ICE. So these things are going to have to be incorporated into any legislation that funds this agency. This all sounds very common sense, so much so that there could be a lot of your Republican colleagues who could sign onto it. (02:06–02:15)
