I was waved in on the Homeland Security Committee about a month ago when Deputy Chief Mabry was there testifying about the need to get this 25 million that we got in the one big beautiful bill, the working families tax cut. This money was to go to these cities to provide security. And it's not like you can just spend that money overnight and hire people. This takes months of planning, preparation to sign the memorandums of understanding and the contracts to get housing for the security that's going to come from Nebraska and Texas and Colorado.
