The key thing that I think is important is recusal really is tied to the integrity of the judge or the justice. And I have spent the last 12 years as a judge showing that I have that integrity and that independence. I have ruled against the state, the district attorney's office, my old employer, the Department of Justice. I have ruled against things that my opponent would believe are right wing special interest groups. (26:59–27:08)
