And the reason why we do that goes back to my point at the outset of this with human nature. And that is that that's what other countries do all the time. Virtually every single nation state we interact with prioritizes their national interest in their actions with us. And we need to begin to do that again, and we're beginning to do that again, prioritizing the national interest of the United States above everything else in making these foreign policy decisions.
