I'm a proud public school graduate and I know firsthand the challenges that our schools face now because they're the same challenges that our schools face even then. Milwaukee Public Schools has had a rough go of it because of chronic underfunding. And we know that this school system, along with all of our public schools, is in deep need to ensure that we can meet the need for every single child. (08:57–09:03)
