If any of us hope to see these programs excel, we need to center everything around a strong workforce. Two bipartisan priorities of mine were included to address this exact issue. The Expanding Childcare in Rural America act and the Jobs in the woods act, both of which I have led alongside my good friend Congresswoman Gluson Camp Perez. My district is a childcare desert and is forcing families to make impossible decisions.
