Is being in Congress, is the system of Congress, is the experience of Congress what you imagined before you showed up? I think so. I had been here several times to lobby congressional leaders as a mayor of my town. I made sure to come here twice a year to make sure that I let them know what Happy Valley was about and what people cared about, all the local issues. and how, you know, with the decisions that they made, maybe never made it to the ground floor.
