So, to understand tariffs, you have to realize that it's a tax that is put on the producer, and in most cases, that's going to be kicked back to the consumer. And so, an example, There's a sugar tariff right to protect American sugar farmers. It ends up costing us about per person, $40 a year. but it makes sure that american sugar farmers are able to grow and sell their sugar as opposed to foreign sugar producers. (43:32–43:42)
