And you know, in other cities that are as large as Milwaukee, they don't have to rely so heavily on property taxes. Whereas here in Milwaukee that's not the case, basically. Move Forward MKE supports allowing Milwaukee county to raise the property tax by $0.01. And in the first year that would generate over $160 million. that would be shared between Milwaukee county and its other 19 counties.
