It's causing these deaths. Total overdoses have increased by almost 20% across America since this administration took office. And despite this hopelessness, South Dakota has been a bright spot. We led the nation for the largest decline in drug overdoses in 2020 and again in 2022. Our anti meth and our anti opioid campaigns, they are working. But even with that success, a higher share of our overdoses that do occur are happening because of a result of fentanyl. (11:45–11:55)
