We were in the middle of an affordability crisis on health care, and these cuts are just exacerbating that crisis rather than actually solving the crisis for the American people. Well, that sounds extremely dire when it comes to the Affordable Care act. We're also seeing millions of Americans dropping their coverage overall. I talked to one New Yorker who told me her plan now costs $13,000 a year and she can't go uninsured because she's at a higher risk for breast cancer and needs those regular screenings for patients like her.
