My mother was a elementary and middle school English and art teacher, and I remember many long evenings while she's there grading papers. And I came here largely following in some ways, in her footsteps. I started my career as an environmental attorney at the United States Environmental Protection Agency. And sort of mid career I went into teaching and got a job here at the University of Arizona leading their environmental law program. (05:33–05:40)
