I am a educator. I moved to Arizona 20 years ago with my infant daughter to teach at the University of Arizona. And I'm also a former state legislator, served in both Arizona state House and Senator Senate and I'm a mom. And I also ran for this district in 2020 election, the midterms and missed winning it.
