People really want to make sure that our public schools are adequately funded. They are so important to our communities and obviously to our future prosperity and childcare. Childcare is a huge issue and We face a massive funding cliff where the child care counts. Money is going to run out at the end of the year. And if Republicans do not put more money into the program and reauthorize it, then we could see mass closures of daycares all around the state, even in places like Madison and Milwaukee where you don't necessarily think of it as a child care desert.
