A lot of parts of the state suffer from very significant healthcare provider shortages. And that's meaning people can't access basic care. So This bill is going to help alleviate [healthcare provider shortages], particularly in rural areas and in underserved parts of the state. And, you know, for a long time, I was the only Democrat on that bill. But I knew it was the right thing to do, not necessarily for my district, but for especially the rural parts of the state.
