One thing I will say is that when you're approaching the Capitol, it seems big and daunting and overwhelming when you actually get to know the people there. There's nothing to be intimidated by. You know, Legislators are just people, and they're not as fancy as you think. It is their job to listen to you. you. And, you know, you may get a variety of responses. I mean, I have done advocacy meetings and lobbying meetings on abortion with people who are sexual assault survivors, with people who have stories that they want to. (18:37–18:50)
